The 15th century Rose & Crown is situated in Ham Lane in the centre of the pretty Sussex village of Burwash, this pub is owned by Harvey & Son of Lewes and is run as a tenancy by Paul & Jill Emmerson.
Low beams and a glass covered Well greet you as you enter this historic building, to your left is the restaurant and to the right is the bar.
There are two Inglenook fireplaces with log burning stoves which make it cosy during the winter months. There is a secluded courtyard garden at the rear and a partially decked garden area to the side where you can enjoy the pleasure of eating outside in the summer months. We also have four newly refurbished letting rooms, 2 doubles and 2 twins all with en-suite shower rooms.
The pub has a central bar servery offering Harvey’s real ales, lager and cider on draught, and a selection of fine wines by the glass or bottle.
Pub opening times are 12.00 - 3.00 and 5.00 - 11.00 monday to friday, 12.00 - 11.00 saturday and 12.00 - 10.30 on sundays.
